Hej sweeties! For et par uger siden købte jeg mig en ny bog som hedder “The Book Of You”, fra Urban Outfitters. Det er en bog med en masse små ting man skal gøre hver dag, der er nemlig 365 små handlinger, én til hver dag i året. Det gode, er at man ikke behøver at gøre det i den rækkefølge som de bliver listet op i, men man kan sagtens springe i dem, hvis det er det man har lyst til. Noget af det man fx skal gøre kan være “Del noget der får dig til at grine”, “To minutters træning”, eller “Gå i seng 15 minutter tidligere end du plejer”. Bare sådan nogle små ting i hverdagen der gør ens dag gladere, bedre og sundere. Hverdagen handler nemlig om alle disse små ting vi gør for os selv og for andre.
Når man har udført en handling, skal man tick it off oppe i hjørnet, der vil samtidig også være plads til at man kan skrive sine tanker ned og skrive hvad man har opnået med dette.
Hver handling er delt op i kategorier; mad, tanker, bevægelse & kærlighed. Hvilket jeg synes er rigtig fedt, så det ikke bliver så ensformigt, men der dermed er lidt af hvert.
Nu har jeg haft bogen i cirka 2 uger, og jeg er virkelig glad for den. Jeg er vild med idéen om at man skal udføre nogle små opgaver hver dag. Man kommer virkelig til at se hvor taknemmelig man er, og hvordan man kan gøre sig selv og andre glade. Det er virkelig de der små ting i hverdagen man skal holde øje med. Jeg bliver inderligt glad for, hvis en fremmed smiler til mig på gaden. Det er virkelig noget af det bedste jeg ved. Det handler ligesom om at få de der små ting, til at få en positiv indvirkning i hverdagen.
ENGLISH: Hi sweeties! A few weeks ago I bought myself a new book called “The Book Of You”, from Urban Outfitters. It is a book with a lot of daily micro actions for everyday – 365 small actions – one for each day of the year. The good thing is that you do not have to follow the daily order, instead you can jump around and mix things up, if that is what you want. Some of the actions can for example be: “Share something that makes you laugh”, “Two minutes workout”, or “Go to bed 15 minutes earlier”. Just such little things in life that makes your day happier, better and healthier. Everyday life is all about these little things we do for ourselves and for other people.
Once you have completed a micro-action, tick it off in the circle at the top of the page. There will also be space to write down your thoughts and your achievements.
Each micro-action comes under one category: food, mind, move & love. Which I think is really cool, there is a little something for everyone.
I have had the book in about 2 weeks now, and I’m really happy about it. I love the idea that you have to complete some small tasks everyday. You will really see how grateful you are and how to make yourself and others happy. These daily micro-actions are things you need to notice, for a happier and healthier you. Something that can make my day, is when a stranger from the street gives me a big smile. That can brighten up my day. It’s all about getting those little things to make a positive impact, in our everyday life.
